Newspaper RSS Feeds

December 14th, 2004  |  Published in XML  |  2 Comments

The Media Drop has a list of newspapers with RSS feeds, although it’s heavy on college papers at the moment. I have some additions that I tried to submit via the comment form but it wasn’t working, so here they are:

Pocono Record, Stroudsburg, Pa.

Lexington Herald-Leader

Tallahassee Democrat

Wichita Eagle

San Jose Mercury News

Thanks for the additions. My host has “shut down” my Movable Type due to comment spam attacks (which Blacklist has been blocking), so I haven’t been able to update over there. I’ll add them as soon as I get to my new host this week. Though I did have the Lexington paper =)

As for the college papers, it’s actually that way due to the number of student papers that have adopted the feeds. I’d still bet that less than 80 daily papers (I think it’s about 45 right now) actually have RSS on their sites. I went through a few thousand, and this is where I landed.

    Thanks again!
