Some Django Notes

January 1st, 2008  |  Published in django  |  1 Comment

First, I got my copy of the Django Book for my birthday, and it’s a great resource written in the straight-forward style that users of the documentation have come to expect. Congrats to Adrian, Jacob and Simon (who contributed a chapter on newforms).

On a related note, Adrian explained a little bit about the origins of databrowse, an add-on for Django that Adrian cooked up for people who want to browse datasets without writing much app code. Like, um, yours truly. It’s nice to see my laziness rewarded!

Don’t you miss Databrowse in your new gig?! :-)

    Happy new year, my friend!
