Fumblerooski Update

September 11th, 2008  |  Published in django, Sports  |  3 Comments

Some additions to Fumblerooski, as work continues:

  • Yearly rosters for teams (example). Thanks to the NCAA for this stuff, which goes back to 2000.
  • Player pages (example). These are a little odd in that they represent a player on a team for a single year, so they have links to other seasons for that player. Again, back to 2000.

Coming up: game summary stats for teams, and player game stats.

When can we expect the special section dedicated solely to all of the many players who won the Heisman Trophy as sophomores?

Excellent question. Looks like I need to add a HeismanTrophy model to my app…

Team colors would go a long, long way.
