Duane Marsteller of the Bradenton Herald used state data to illustrate “the thousands of violations that state regulators have found in Manatee County day care centers in the past two years.” The overwhelming majority of the 4,122 violations at the county’s 101 facilities were minor infractions such as incomplete paperwork or missing items from bathrooms.
